On the afternoon of 23rd October, the opening ceremony of the 19th Youth Leadership Training Program and Hierarchical Integrated League School Training Class of the School of Business Administration of Zhongnan University of Economics and Law was held at Zhexiao Lecture Hall of Wenhui Building on Shouyi Campus. Teacher He Qiang, Secretary of the School Youth League Committee, Teachers Liu Xiaojia and Nan Tianliang, counselors of the 2025 cohort, and all members of the League, Student Union and Volunteer Association participated. The ceremony was hosted by Li Tingyi, Minister of the Art Department of the Art and Sports Development Center of the School Sub-Committee of the Communist Youth League.
The opening ceremony kicked off with a passionate League song. All members renewed their League membership oath under the leadership of Dong Yuntian, Deputy Secretary of the Student Sub-Committee of the Communist Youth League.
Teacher He Qiang extended a warm welcome and congratulations to the new members. He emphasized the importance of social responsibility, rational thinking and practical spirit for young business students, encouraging them to grow into responsible and capable young leaders through learning and practice.
Wang Yuxuan, Minister of the Organization Department of the Sub-Committee of the Communist Youth League, introduced the training system of the program, as well as the organizational structure and assessment standards of the League, Student Union and Volunteer Association. She hoped that the students would cherish the opportunity to exercise their abilities and strengthen their beliefs in practice.
Nie Yuchen, member of the Presidium of the School Student Union, Liu Jialin, representative of the 18th training class, and Ma Zhengrong, representative of the 19th new students, delivered speeches successively. They shared experiences, reviewed past work, reported future plans and called on everyone to keep learning, practice earnestly and fulfill their responsibilities.
Subsequently, Liu Yulu, Deputy Minister of the Propaganda Department of the Volunteer Association, introduced the association’s organizational structure, work content and achievements. Adhering to the purpose of Striving for Excellence and Spreading Warmth to Society, the association has carried out public welfare activities in rural areas and communities for 25 years. Kong Weijia, Director of the Propaganda Center, and his team explained the work connection norms of various departments. Pan Yutang, Deputy Minister of the Academic Department of the Student Academic Research Center, provided special training on activity plan writing.
The opening ceremony marked the establishment of the new session of the League, Student Union and Volunteer Association.
