MBA Education Center Holds Alumni Experience Sharing Session for Weekend Class 2 of Grade 2024

On 19th April 2025, the Weekend Class 2 of Grade 2024 of the MBA Education Center of the School of Business Administration of Zhongnan University of Economics and Law successfully organized an alumni experience sharing session. The event brought together alumni and current students, building a platform for experience sharing and idea exchanges with a warm and harmonious atmosphere.


At the beginning of the session, Head Teacher Ding Yi delivered a speech. She warmly welcomed the alumni who returned with rich workplace experience, noting that their return to campus for further study not only demonstrated their adherence to academic aspirations but also embodied the concept of lifelong learning. She emphasized that alumni aimed to improve professional abilities and pass on practical experience to younger students, and encouraged current students to engage in interactive discussions with questions and reflections.

Yu Huafeng, an alumnus of the 2005 MBA cohort and Chairman of Wuhan Xinchuangxin Technology Co., Ltd., shared his entrepreneurial experience. Having participated in the lifelong learning program for three consecutive years, he reminded students to control inventory levels, analyze the commercial value of business models in the real economy, attach importance to financial management knowledge, identify risks in business cooperation, and emphasized the value of long-term commitment in learning.

Fang Zhixian, an alumnus and Assistant Minister of the Strategic Development Department of China Changjiang National Shipping Group, shared his views. As a risk-averse person, he believed in the principle of high risk with high return and low risk with low return. He advised everyone to balance work, life and family, and pursue self-cultivation when in hardship and contributing to society when in prosperity.

Finally, Wan Wenlong, Student Secretary of Weekend Class 2 of Grade 2024, made a closing speech. He thanked the alumni for their participation, recognized the class committee’s efforts in organizing the session, and hoped the class would hold more exchange activities in the future to integrate resources in groups, promote communication among students and achieve common growth.

This successful session strengthened the connection between alumni and current students, and brought students rich practical experience and profound life insights. It is believed that students will take alumni as role models, learn from their experience and make progress in their studies and work to shine in their respective fields.
